GBT steel cord conveyor belts are designed for long-distance, high-tension systems with heavy loads and large center distances. Embedded steel cords provide very low elongation, high splice efficiency and excellent impact resistance. Cord diameters, cord pitch and safety factors are tailored to the application. Special designs are available with rip detection systems, high tensile classes and flame-retardant or heat-resistant cover compounds to meet relevant DIN/ISO and customer-specific requirements.
