Belt System Components and Accessories
Belt System Components and Accessories
Our belt system components include drive and bend pulleys with rubber lagging, carrying and return idlers, tracking devices and belt cleaners.
We design components to correct belt tracking, limit spillage and protect the belt from damage at transfer points. Shock-absorbing impact beds, sealing systems and dust control elements help extend belt life and improve workplace safety.
Belt cleaners
Our scope of supply covers a wide range of belt cleaners, available as head (primary), secondary, drum and return belt cleaners. Systems can be supplied with carbide or polyurethane blades (bar-type cleaners) or PU cleaning segments and, if required, installed by our service crews.
Belt cleaners are used to keep conveyor belts and conveyor systems clean, thereby reducing downtime and belt damage caused by build-up and material deposits. Depending on the application, we install food-grade scraper systems as well as heavy-duty multi-stage solutions with pre-cleaner and main cleaner for the most demanding operating conditions.
In many cases, a complete scraper replacement is not necessary. Our fitters can replace individual scraper blades, regrind or adjust them, ensuring efficient belt cleaning and optimized operating costs.

Rollers, pulleys and drum motors
Accessories for conveyor systems such as rollers, pulleys and drum motors are also part of our delivery program. On request, our service teams handle the full mechanical installation on site.
Carrying and return idlers
In addition to vulcanizing services, our technicians perform steelwork and mechanical tasks on conveyor systems, including the installation of carrying idlers, return idlers, pulleys and belt cleaners. Idlers are available in various lengths and diameters, with numerous standard designs manufactured according to DIN. Custom idlers can be produced to customer dimensions and, where required, equipped with impact rings or support rings for loading and transfer areas.
Pulleys (bend / drive pulleys)
By lagging bend and drive pulleys instead of using bare steel or stainless steel shells, the coefficient of friction between belt and pulley is increased. This reduces belt slip and associated wear of both belt and pulley. We apply lagging such as smooth rubber, fine diamond (mini-chevron) or repair fabrics, depending on the duty. Predominantly crowned lagging ensures a stable, straight-running belt and is installed professionally by our fitters.
We also carry out electrical testing of drum motors and tightness checks on pulleys by pressure testing. This combination of suitable components, correct installation and documented inspection routines ensures reliable, low-maintenance operation of the entire conveyor system.
